Catch A Rising Star in Twin River Casino on June 3rd, 2010 at 8:00pm
Lincoln, RI – Nick Varano, owner of Strega Ristorante in Boston’s historic North End is about to get some good natured ribbing at the hands of some of his famous friends. Vincent “Big Pussy” Pastore, Al Sapienza, Paul D’angelo, CES Boxing’s Jimmy Burchfield, and other special guests will gather on Thursday, June 3rd at Catch A Rising Star in Twin River Casino for a Roast of Historic Proportions.
Nick or “Nicky” as his laundry lists of friends refer to him is, by all accounts, one of the most generous and selfless people you could ever know. He went from car salesman to one of New England’s most influential businessmen and he took all his friends with him for the ride. Now, his friends get to return the favor.
A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the American Red Cross Flood Victims Relief Fund. This fund was set up to benefit those affected by the recent catastrophic flooding in New England. Cardi’s Furniture and Twin River Casino have graciously donated valuable gift cards to be raffled off for charity at the event as well.
This event will be held at Catch A Rising Star in Twin River Casino at 100 Twin River Road in Lincoln, RI 02865. Tickets are $30 for General Admission and $45 for GA with a Celebrity Meet and Greet following the event. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm.
